There's a lot of uncertainty as we enter the summer of 2021. That includes how the service we provide to our society can incorporate the highly valued relationship between humans which Rotary members have experienced during previous moments. However, it is evident that the hand-to-face tradition remains a part of our routine. Rotary is changing. In the summer months of 2021 there remains a continuing level of uncertainty about whether our social service will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our daily routine but it's clear that confidence is growing and there are more face-toface connections. Rotary is evolving. Compliance and insurance play crucial roles. We are aware that Rotary volunteers form lasting relationships based on their shared commitment of time and effort. The creativity and innovation of our members to find solutions to many of the most difficult challenges is incredible and I am extremely thankful that the opportunity to join Rotary was offered to me back in 2002. As with many others, Rotary have provided me with a strong trustworthy group of people who are like-minded who have formed genuine relationships developed over these almost 20 years. We must now help spread the word about Rotary by inviting our family and friends and colleagues to join Rotary.
