There's an element of uncertainty as we enter the season of summer 2021. It is a concern about the manner we will serve the society will incorporate the highly valued connections between people as Rotary members experienced in past time. Although the mantra of hands face space' is sure to continue to be a component of our program, it's clear that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are happening. However, the nature of Rotary is changing. It is still unclear how the service we provide to others is going to incorporate the highly appreciated connections between people that Rotary Members had during previous time. Even though the "hands facing space" principle is certain to become part of regular routine at our organization, there's no doubt that a sense of confidence is developing and more people make face-to-face connections. Rotary is, however, having changed. Rotary networks help to build long-lasting friendships. We've honed our methods of holding meeting online for business while introducing activities for service and social in a safe face-to-face format. Our newfound opportunities have combined with what we learned from our previous pandemics to create a new outlook for Rotary. It was encouraging to learn that 75% of Rotary clubs plan to continue their "business as usual" actions. In the summer months the majority of Rotary club members have been seen in the public, focusing their attention on a variety of initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Check out this piece 1. Amanda Watkin, General Secretary's Column published in Rotary Magazine. In a Rotary survey conducted recently it was encouraging to learn the fact that 75% clubs had plans for their regular events and initiatives that were previously beneficial to communities in Great Britain and Ireland. Additionally, I am proud of how Rotary Support Team Rotary Support Team is continuing to provide valuable tools to help promote and help with the various initiatives. They also maintain infrastructures which keep their members safe as well as protect the public. Insurance and compliance are crucial. It's thrilling to witness how our members are able to come up with creative solutions to many of the toughest issues. I am so thankful to be a part of the team. Rotary gave me the chance to join in 2002. Rotary along with many other clubs, has helped me build an extensive network of individuals with the same values as me and with whom I've developed genuine relationships over the past 20 years. Everyone should invite their members of our families and friends to join Rotary, and we can really make a difference.
